Beschreibung: Wenn zur Herstellung medizinisch brauchbarer Proteine durch Transformation Bakterien verwendet werden, müssen die fraglichen Proteine von allen anderen zellulären Proteinen getrennt werden. In diesem Experiment dienen die einmaligen Fluoreszenzeigenschaften des GFP und des BFP als Test im Verlauf der Aufreinigung der aus einem <i>E. coli</i>-Extrakt. Die Säulenfraktionen, die GFP oder BFP enthalten, werden durch Fluoreszenz identifiziert und anschließend aufgereinigt.
